Vargas Blues Band – Blues The Healer

New 2025 Blues Album Releases - Vargas Blues Band

Javier Vargas has been kickin out great blues and blues rock tunes in Europe since the 1990’s. He is not well known in the United States and Canada. I’d like to help solve that with your help….give it a listen!!

David Ronaldo – Six String Preacher [Fandango Music Belgium]

Belgian David Ronaldo’s new recording is just some great Friday night Roadhouse blues rockin’!!

Gina and Johnny – Free Your Soul

New 2025 Blues Album Releases - Gina and Johnny

This Cincinnati area group features a long time favorite of mine, Johnny Fink, on guitar and the strong distinctive voice of Gina McCann. Gina can belt out a tune….mhmm!! Albums released in January often get overlooked at awards time at the end of the year but I tell ya this recording has a nomination for blues album of 2025 written all over it.

Guy Verlinde & Tom Eylenbosch – Promised Land Blues [Bandr Music]

Guy & Tom’s new recording is just some chill acoustic Belgian blues…perfect for relaxing to on a cold winter night.

Larkin Poe – Bloom [Trick-Woo Records]

New 2025 Blues Album Releases - Larkin Poe

Arguably the hottest touring contemporary duo on the planet, the Larkin Poe sisters continue to crank out albums that appeal to cross over audiences of rock & blues lovers and modern country adherents.

Charlie Beale – Bluestronic [Freshly Squeezed Records]

This is a really cool little EP featuring four songs by Charlie Beale. It reminds me a lot of the electro blues recording made by R.L. Burnside late in his career.
